• Mount the camera 30–60 cm from the board, off to the side or below, looking across at 30–45°. Don't mount it straight on.
• Use even light with no hard shadows. An LED ring around the board is the biggest upgrade.
• Tap the 4 points on the outer edge of the double ring. Drag them to fine-tune until the green wire overlay sits on the real wires.
• Once calibrated, don't move the camera or the board.
